[Who Goes There? Part 4]

Holey crap, talk about a knock your socks off cliff hanger, lol. Awesome, AWESOME work. Seriously.

The graphics are okay, they're not amazing or anything, but the eye candy is rarely as important as direction, sound and story. These are all things that add to the FEELING of a film, and it's the feeling that causes interest. The creativity behind the violence in this flick is what makes it so good, not the violence, the scene where the guy is shooting the aliens and for a second it switches to "gun sight" mode

Awesome.

Just a truly creative movie.

Didn't like the song, didn't like the video. I might have been able to tolerate the song had there been a better video.

Next time, I understand that it's your style to do the whole "stoned hippy pscyhodelic mess with your mind" thing... but a bunch of crap happening on a screen isn't interesting to me or anyone I know. There's a difference between being "artsy" and being "fresh out of ideas".

I'm not a fan of your music but I have followed your carreer (did i spell that right?) and even bought your album just to show support, but when you do crap like this it makes me rethink gestures like that.

Make the video about the song, it can still be weird and be good at the same time, but take the time to at least attempt some sort of symbolic relationship between the words and visuals.

I am actually not the Flaming Lips... you should write to Wayne Coyne. This is a really old animation for me... so no, it's not that great... but whatever. I did what I could with what I had. I'm glad you liked the graphics anyway.

Jesus christ what was up with the ending? I don't know what it is with film makers of any kind and their need to destroy a creation at the end.

It's like that movie "Monster Man" it's this low budget little flick that was really good, I was seriously impressed all the way through and then right at the end, almost because they figured no one was going to see it anyway, they totally RUIN it with stupid corny humor that makes no sense and has nothing to do with the entire story...

That's this flick.

With that said, the REASON i'm being so hard on it, is because I absolutely loved 95% of the flick. But the last maybe 10 or 15 seconds completely kills it.

Check it out anyway, but it would have been better if they had just ended a little early and not put that corny disco ball gag at the end.

(Midnight Sun) reminded of Samurai Jack in it's...

I'm reminded of Samurai Jack in the way that this film portrays a complete story, idea, as well as charecter development and tone without use of words neither text nor verbal to help explain what's going on, and yet you are never confused. Was this flick perfect? No, but most people don't realize how difficult it is to tell a story without words. This movie looked like a trailer for a much bigger, much better full length film.

Definately check it out.
